Unleashed a new hobby!

At the start of last month, I was randomly walking in DAISO when I decided to pick up a $2 acrylic paint set (because why not, since it's just $2!). After experimenting with the colored markers mixed with paint previously, so I thought why not try out the proper water colors way?

I got the paint set first, then followed by and affordable 5-piece paint brush set from IKEA which only costs $6! Then I purchase a 12-piece Aquarelle Brush set from a carouseller for $10.

Basic colors was all I needed because....the joy of customizing your own colors!

It was the first time I ever did painting and I didn't even know I could handle brushes easily. After making a few random designs on plain paper, I realized it's super therapeutic for my mind! Also, I feel more at ease and generally happier after expressing myself through the floral watercolor painting. The colors and designs I choose for a particular design reflects on the emotions I was feeling at that point of time.

So I finally found a platform to get away from my busy working life, from working long hours everyday. Coming from a retail-customer service line, it gets too stressful from meeting so many people for the day that I needed a quiet time by myself. On my off days, I would do at least two designs while listening to music for the day.
