Dr. Song was telling Dr. Kwak on how she desperately wants to save a particular patient by selling off her thesis to another doctor. Dr. Kwak thinks that she's doing it for her own benefits. When confronted, she eventually tells him her true thoughts, blaming herself for her death as she wasn't able to save her own mother. Feeling emphatic, Dr. Kwak pulls her in for a hug and console her.
