So recently I successfully completed watching a Korean drama series "Hospital Ship". A very heartwarming story about young doctors who go out saving lives on board a medical ship. But what captures me the most from the drama? The handsome, yet warm-hearted doctor, Kwak Hyun with his love interest, Doctor Song Eun-Jae.
I was so inspired by their love story that I just had to put it to good use:
I picked up pencil sketching by accident! I have never been able to draw human figures all my life - always having problems with body proportions and feature outlines. But this time, it seems that my sketching skills came naturally.
Honestly, I never expected the drawings to come out this well, for I was only drawing for the fun of it. After drawing one panel, I couldn't stop myself from continuing, so I drew all my favorite scenes out.

"Hospital Ship" literal meaning: Byeong-Won Seon

Hyun assuring Eunjae when she was in low spirits.

Kwak Hyun: "This heart, who is it beating for?"

Kwak Hyun: I hope that at least when you're with me, you'll feel at ease."

Doctor Kwak cradling a sick baby using the "Kangaroo Care" method. Aww!

Song Eunjae: "My man has the warmest heart in the world." So sweet!

Song Eunjae: "I don't feel ashamed when he catches me as I fall."
To the writer of Hospital Ship:
Thank you for producing such a beautiful story. Even though it's just a fictional drama, it definitely touched my heart greatly. Thank you for coming up with such a perfect person like Doctor Kwak Hyun. I can only wish that he really existed in real life. Hahah.
